Intelligent Medical Objects, Inc. is opening a new satellite location in the University of Illinois Research Park. On Tuesday, IMO will host an open house of their new facility from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The company will also sponsor a coding competition from Wednesday, April 11 until Sunday, April 15.
The coding competition will require teams of two to five students to create an Electronic Medical Record that will include IMO Terminology Clinical components and Portal solution. The winning team could win up to $5,000, with each student on the team that wins earning $1,000. According to IMO, the requirements to participate in the coding competition are a team, use of IMO terminology, branding and identity, functionality, easy to use and a presentation of the solution.

The open house will take place at the IMO Research & Development Center at the research park, which is located at 2100 South Oak Street, Suite 208 in Champaign. Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP.
