The living dead rose at Allen Hall on Saturday night as a crowd of students dressed as zombies congregated for flash mob performances to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”
The event, Zombie Mob, is an Allen Hall tradition for Halloween. The resident advisors hosted rehearsals every night for one week leading up to the performances, during which they taught participants the choreography. David O’Donoghue, sophomore in FAA, danced with the Zombie Mob for his second consecutive year.
“It was easier this year, having done it last year,” O’Donoghue said.
O’Donoghue said he struggles with dancing but “was able to get (the routine) down easily.”
The group performed at seven locations including outside Allen Hall, inside the Ikenberry Commons and as the halftime entertainment at the Men’s Basketball game at Assembly Hall. O’Donoghue said he was not shaken by performing in front of the crowd at the game.

“Since it was during halftime and we had to do it really quickly, there was not time to be like, ‘Oh my god, I’m performing in front of all these people,’” he said.
