Breakup of the week: Leonardo DiCaprio and Erin Heatherton
Ladies and gents, Mr. DiCaprio is back on the market. Usually I feel a bit sorry for celebrity couples that break up since their break up can be broadcasted for the entire world to potentially see, but for some reason, this time I truthfully could care less. I guess that’s just because I wasn’t as emotionally invested in this celebrity relationship as I am with others. Let’s be honest — who even knew who Erin Heatherton was before reading this post or Googling her? Yeah, me either. Nonetheless, if there’s a breakup involving a celeb, I must blog about it! My favorite part of this breakup though is trying to guess who Leo is going to be with next.
Baby news of the week: Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell are expecting
Yay! Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell, an example of a celebrity couple I’m actually invested in, are having a baby. I remember when I first fell in love with this couple. It was when I first saw Kristen’s sloth video (which Dax filmed) on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. By the way, if you haven’t seen this video yet, you must! It is absolutely hilarious and so precious. Fun fact: Dax and Kristen actually grew up 30 miles away from each other in Michigan, but didn’t meet until they were both in Los Angeles. If that’s not fate, I don’t know what is.
“Wow” of the week: Kirstie Alley’s Love Confessions

Whoa lady, let it all out why don’t ya! Kirstie Alley didn’t hold anything back in her interview with Barbara Walters promoting her new book, “The Art of Men,” including two very personal love confessions. Alley, who worked with John Travolta on the movie “Look Who’s Talking,” told Barbara that Travolta was the greatest love of her life. “Believe me, it took everything that I had inside, outside, whatever, to not run off and marry John and be with John for the rest of my life,” she said according to abcnews.com. Insert “wow” here. She also clarified for everyone that was confused (even though Travolta has been married for the past 20-something years), that he not gay. Um, duh? Her second love confession detailed her relationship with Patrick Swayze, whom she claims fell in love with her when they were both filming “North and South.” Frankly, I just feel bad for these men’s wives who are probably sitting on their couches watching the nightly news only to discover their husbands had a love affair with Kirstie Alley! Can you say drama?
