Lindsay Lohan arrested for assault

Is it bad that this just doesn’t even surprise me anymore? This girl cannot seem to stay out of trouble, can she? At 4 a.m. on Thursday, Lohan was arrested and charged with third-degree assault after getting into an altercation with another woman at a nightclub in New York City, according to people.com. The other woman was apparently not giving Lohan enough personal space so Lohan lashed out and punched the woman in the face. What ever happened to that sweet and innocent girl we saw in “The Parent Trap”? Or, just asking someone politely to move over? New York’s Daily News reports that the other woman accidentally bumped into Lohan to avoid a fight that was occurring somewhere else in the nightclub. What kind of place is this? Lohan’s assistant Gavin Doyle, who was at the nightclub, was quoted in the New York Post defending Lohan. “It’s become a pastime to use her name and fame and blame things on her,” Doyle said. Well, whether Lohan punched the woman or not, she could face jail time for this incident because of her current probation. Maybe jail is the only way to keep this girl out of trouble.

Halle Berry’s fiance and ex’s Thanksgiving brawl

 It wasn’t such a happy Thanksgiving for Halle Berry, who’s fiancé, Oliver Martinez, and ex Gabriel Aubry, got into a fistfight after Aubry dropped their daughter off at Berry’s home. According to people.com, Aubry alleged that Martinez started the brawl. However, a source close to Berry said that Aubry started the fight and Martinez was just trying to have a discussion with him. Well, by the look of Aubry’s mug shot, it looks like either Martinez won the fight, or Aubry had no idea the fight was coming. Police came to the scene and arrested Aubry after Martinez claimed he attacked him. They both made trips to the hospital, Aubry facing worse injuries including a fractured rip and stitches in his mouth. Can you say, ow? The brawl comes after Berry was denied permission to move her and Aubry’s daughter Nahla to France, where Martinez is from. According to Aubry’s application for a restraining order against Martinez, Martinez allegedly threatened to kill Aubry, saying, “You cost us $3 million. When you see the judge, you’re going to tell him you’re going to Paris or I’m going to kill you.” All I can say is, poor Nahla. Hopefully she stays out of all this drama.
