Illinois State Police conducted two Operation Campus Taps, resulting in a total of 76 citations.

During the check conducted on November 9, the largest number of citations issued was 11 at Clybourne’s, seven citations were issued at Kam’s, eight at Station, six at It’s Brothers, eight at Joe’s Brewery and two on the campus area street sweep.

The check conducted on November 16 resulted in six citations from Red Lion, one from Murphy’s, six from Kam’s, four from It’s Brothers, eight from Clybourne’s, six from Joe’s Brewery, one from High Dive and two from the campus area sweep.

Operation Campus Taps are conducted by the Illinois State Police and the Champaign Police Department in an effort to reduce and deter underage drinking in Illinois.
