An arrest has been made in connection to a drug investigation on the University campus.
Champaign Police arrested Adam Mailloux on Feb. 1 on the charge of delivery of a controlled substance, according to a press release. Following the arrest, police served a court ordered search warrant to search Mailloux’s residence in the 1100 block of West Springfield Ave.
During the search of Mailloux’s residence, officers located over 250 grams of cannabis, suspected LSD, suspected Psilocybin mushrooms, scales and assorted packaging materials and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Mailloux was transported to the Champaign County jail and initially charged with the manufacturing and/or delivery of between 300 and 500 grams of cannabis and professional of controlled substance.
