In the Aug. 21, 2013, edition of The Daily Illini, the article, “Illinois preparing for concealed carry as citizens wait to apply for permits” inaccurately stated that the Illinois State Police had 136 more days as of Aug. 21 to make a concealed carry application available. The article should have stated the Illinois State Police has until Jan. 5, 2014 to make an application available. The Daily Illini regrets this error.
