Police blotter for Oct. 15, 2014

Champaign

— Burglary was reported on the 400 block of West Clark Street around 10 a.m. Sunday. 

According to the report, an unknown offender forced entry into the victim’s vehicle and stole a purse. The purse was recovered but some items were missing. 

University 

— A 23-year-old male was arrested on the charge of trespassing on the 800 block of S. Lincoln Ave., around 4 a.m. Monday.

According to the report, the victim returned to her apartment with friends and found the suspect in her apartment. The victim said that the suspect acted disoriented and confused, but left after being asked to.

Urbana 

— A 32-year-old male was arrested on the charge of aggravated assault at Circle K, 1821 Philo Rd., around 2 a.m. Monday.

According to the report, the suspect entered the store with a large pocket knife in his hand displaying it to the victim.
