Police blotter for March 30, 2015

Champaign

— Criminal damage was reported in the 1400 Block of Holly Hill Drive around 11 p.m. Saturday, March 14.

According to the report, a female threw a lamp through a window after an argument. The suspect left the house and was not located.

— Criminal damage to property was reported in the 1000 Block of Union Street around 2 p.m. Friday.

According to the report, an unknown offender attempted to gain entry into the victim’s house and caused damage to the door trim.

— Criminal damage to property was reported in the 600 Block of North Country Fair Drive around 9 a.m. Saturday.

According to the report, an unknown offender vandalized the victim’s vehicle using spray paint and shaving cream around 5:30 p.m. Friday.

University

Urbana

— Credit card fraud was reported around 12 p.m. Friday.

According to the report, the offender used the victim’s debit card at a local grocery store.

— Driving under revoked license was reported in the 1000 Block of Austin Drive around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

According to the report, Urbana police officers responded to reports of shots heard. Offender was seen leaving the site in a motor vehicle and was stopped by a police car but fled on foot. The offender was ultimately found and arrested and was also found to be driving with a revoked license.

— Sexual assault was reported at Carle Foundation Hospital, 611 W. Park St., around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

According to the report, the victim claimed the offender sexually assaulted him at the hospital.
