Champaign

— Theft was reported at Mach 1, 902 W. Bloomington Road, around 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

According to the report, a video showed the offender stealing a bottle of liquor from the store.

— Criminal damage to property was reported at CityBlue Technologies, 313 N. Mattis Ave., around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

According to the report, the offender damaged a window in the building.

— Theft was reported at Weston Hall, 204 E. Peabody Drive, between 5:30 and 9 p.m. Sunday.

According to the report, the victim’s clothing was stolen after being left unattended in a dryer. The clothing had an estimated value of $160.

— Theft was reported near Lincoln and Florida avenues between 2 and 6 p.m. Saturday.

According to the report, the victim’s bag was stolen after being left unattended in the athletic fields. The contents of the bag had an estimated value of $653.

Urbana

— A 45-year-old male was arrested on the charges of theft and possession of a controlled substance at Walmart, 100 S. High Cross Road, around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to the report, the offender entered the store, removed items from the shelves and exited past all points of sale without paying. The offender was apprehended by police and found to be in possession of a controlled substance.

— Domestic battery was reported in the 1000 block of South Smith Road around 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to the report, a witness observed the offender battering the victim after a verbal argument. The victim and offender were dating at one point and have a child.
