Champaign

Robbery and attempted aggravated battery was reported in the 2000 block of Garden Hills Drive around noon Monday. According to the report, the victim prevented a robbery attempt on her purse.

An arrest was made on the charges of burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 300 block of West Vine Street around 12:30 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the suspect was caught burglarizing a motor vehicle. Multiple reports of the suspect were made that same morning. A knife, credit cards, a GPS system and a radio were all reported stolen.

Battery was reported in the 5o0 block of South Prospect Avenue around 11 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the offender, who was intoxicated, got into a physical fight with the victim, who was the driver of the vehicle she was riding in.

Urbana 

Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported in the 800 block of West Iowa Street around 8 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the unknown offender entered the victim’s unlocked car and stole the security lug socket for the car’s tires.

An arrest was made on the charges of domestic battery and home invasion in the 1300 block of North Lincoln Avenue around 2 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the suspect broke into the victim’s apartment and battered her.

Domestic dispute was reported in the 500 block of Fairlawn Drive around 8:3o a.m. Monday. According to the report, the offender and victim were in a dating relationship and have two children together. The offender went to the victim’s residence to discuss custody of the children, and a domestic dispute started.
