Criminal trespass was reported at the Illini Union Bookstore, 809 S. Wright St., Champaign, at 9 a.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, police were called to the bookstore after store security saw the offender inside. The offender was previously issued a no-trespass notice for all University property on Tuesday after a retail theft incident at the bookstore.

Urbana

Residential burglary was reported on the 2200 block of Vermont Avenue around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, an unknown offender took a tool from the victim’s garage but later returned it.
