An arrest was made on the charges of driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle around near Green and Third streets 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the suspect was initially stopped because he was found driving the wrong way on a one-way street. 

Urbana

Aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and leaving the scene of an accident was reported near East Florida Avenue and Philo Road around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, the offender was driving at a high speed and attempted to pass the victim’s vehicle resulting in a collision that flipped the offender’s vehicle onto its side. The offender then fled the scene on foot and responding officers found a loaded handgun inside the offender’s vehicle.
