Nothing is more relaxing than losing yourself in a good book. If you’re a bookworm, you’ll want to check out the Jane Addams Book Shop. The shop is located at 208 N. Neil St. in downtown Champaign and describes itself as a “locally owned, independent bookstore that has been in business since 1984.” 

The three-story, 15-room shop has a wide assortment of categories for all ages. With over 70,000 titles, there are novels ranging from agriculture, health, fiction, comics and many more. In fact, there are more than 100 categories in 18 sections. Not only that, but they have a map to guide you through all their categories and topics. Also, they have introduced a curbside and in-store pick-up option to save customers time. Should you not find what you’re looking for, Jane Addams Book Shop also takes requests! 

Because they are used, all books are sold at a reduced price. They provide store credit for customers who bring in their own used books and donations are always welcome as well. Any books the store does not need are donated to charity.
