Champaign

  • Disorderly conduct was reported in the 300 block of Chalmers Street around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, a solicitor for an energy company entered the victim’s apartment and made unwanted sexual advances toward the victim.
  • Residential burglary was reported in 600 block of Dogwood Drive around 10 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, 18 items, ranging from cellular phones to televisions, were stolen from the residence.
  • Burglary was reported at Mosser’s Shoes on 06 Convenience Center Road around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the business was burglarized and five clothing items/furs were taken.

University

  • A broken window was reported at Allen Hall on 1005 W. Gregory St. around 10:30 p.m on Monday by University Housing Security. The damages are estimated to cost around $500 to be fixed.
  • A theft was reported at the Activities and Recreation Center on 201 E Peabody Dr around 7:00 p.m. According to the report, the student had cash taken from his wallet that was in an unlocked locker.

Urbana

  • A suicide threat was reported at 400 Block of Glover Av. around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the female victim was admitted to a local hospital involuntarily after making suicidal statements.
  • A drug possession was reported at 2000 Block of Lincoln Av. around 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the arrestee possessed with drug paraphernalia caused a disturbance at a local gas station. He was released after being issued a state notice of appear.
  • A domestic dispute was reported at the 1600 Block of Melrose Park Court around 1:00 a.m. today. According to the report, a male and female in a dating relationship had a verbal argument. The male had a valid city of Champaign warrant and was taken into custody without incident.
  • Intimidation was reported at the 1000 Block of Main Street around 12:00 a.m. According to the report, the unknown offenders demanded money from a 22-year-old male or they would release details of a personal event. The unknown offenders are believed to now be in a different country.
