Illini offense, defense gearing up for spring football game face off

The offensive line has been one of the few groups not hindered by injuries, and four of the starting positions are already likely set entering Saturday’s spring game. Jeff Allen and Hugh Thornton will man the strong side tackle and guard spots, with Graham Pocic at center and Jack Cornell expected to start at the other guard spot. The one spot still undecided is at weakside tackle, where redshirt freshmen Michael Heitz and Simon Cvijanovic are battling to secure the final starting spot. Saturday’s game could give an indication of who is ahead at this point, but a final decision isn’t expected before the fall.

Illini baseball game canceled

Illinois announced that the baseball game against ISU is canceled and will not be rescheduled.

It has been a tough year. Entertainment is now a paradox - people want more, but can afford less, so how are they coping? There hasn't been a particularly large deviation or change in the nature of C-U entertainment in the course of the semester. Instead, the lifestyles of those who want entertainment are altering where they go and what they want to see or listen to.

Economic crisis means budgeting for some students
