Charli XCX released two new singles on Thursday, April 3. The two singles, titled “Club classics” and “B2b,” are a part of her upcoming studio album “Brat,” which is set to be released June 7. Earlier this year, on Feb. 29, she released her first single from the upcoming album, “Von Dutch.”

In a post on her Instagram, Charli XCX said, “Club classics and B2b are out now and they are 2 (two) v (very) important songs in the bratosphere.”

In the same post, Charli XCX explained that “Club classics” was initially conceived in producer George Daniel’s kitchen.

According to Charli XCX, “Club classics” was written after she realized she missed hearing music from close friend and fellow artist Sophie Xeon, who died at 34 after an accident in Athens, Greece.

Charli XCX wrote on Instagram, “I was talking about missing hearing Sophie’s music as much as I used to at parties and ended up turning this thought into a song about only really wanting to hear my own music and my friends’ music at clubs.”

According to Charli XCX, the other single, “B2b,” “started with a last-minute dinner at the restaurant overlooking the Louvre and ended in a studio in LA with a load of equipment covered in whipped cream.”

Charli XCX has also announced a U.K. tour to promote the upcoming album, which will take place from late November to early December. She will be touring Manchester, London, Birmingham and Glasgow.

Vinyl for the album can be pre-ordered on Charli XCX’s official store, and the album can be pre-saved on various music streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and YouTube Music.
