Twenty-two-year-old Oscar and Grammy-winner Billie Eilish announced yesterday her new album that will be released next month.

The American singer-songwriter took to Instagram Sunday night, posting herself underwater. This post was captioned, “READY?” teasing the following announcement.

Nearly 13 hours later, she confirmed that she will release her third studio album on May 17 which is titled “Hit Me Hard and Soft.”

“finneas and i truly could not be more proud of this album and we absolutely can’t wait for you to hear it,” Eilish said in her second Instagram post, referencing her brother. “love you love you love you.”

The album cover is shot underwater with Eilish appearing to be falling out of a white door.

The artist shared that no singles will be released ahead of May 17.

“i wanna give it to you all at once,” Eilish wrote on Instagram.

Eilish also promised to go green with vinyl releases, as she has previously called out artists for their wasteful vinyl variants. There will be a limited release of physical vinyl copies, and the vinyl will likely be made of 100% recycled black vinyl, as seen with her previous albums.
