Beneath the glow of the soft fluorescent lights of The Canopy Club’s main stage, rapper CupcakKe delivered an unapologetically sexual performance to close out Pygmalion day three.
CupcakKe is an American rapper known for her blatant and sometimes humorous display of hypersexuality and vulgarity. She came to fame after releasing two music videos in 2015, along with her debut album “Cum Cake” in 2016.
Since then, the rapper has been pushing boundaries with her provocative lyrics and shameless display of sexuality.
The Canopy Club was packed with people pressed tightly together with the crowd buzzing in eager anticipation for CupcakKe’s performance.
“I love CupcakKe and I’ve loved her for years,” said Holly Musick, junior in LAS. “She just came out with a new album this summer, so I’m really hoping she plays her new songs that she just came out with.”

The rapper came on right at 10:30 p.m. donned in a dramatic yellow top, setting a provocative tone for the night with her first song “Squidward’s Nose.”
The electric energy was immediately palpable, as the crowd screamed with excitement, jumping up and down and pulling out their phones to capture CupcakKe’s entrance.
“You guys, are we sucking d–k tonight or what?” CupcakKe said, addressing the crowd for the first time of the night. “Are we deepthroating d–k tonight, or what?”
She immediately went into “Deepthroat,” one of the most popular songs of her discography, her voice brimming with confidence.
She smoothly spat out the brazen bars, her voice filled with control as she swiftly moved across the stage to capture each side of the audience’s attention.
The crowd roared with excitement, rapping along with the explicit lyrics which made CupcakKe smile into the microphone.
Ana Kravchenko, sophomore in LAS, said she admires CupCakKe for her bold, unapologetic nature.
“I feel like a big thing that stands out is just how much she is willing to put out there,” Kravchenko said. “She is just very herself, and I really admire that.”
CupcakKe’s high-energy stage presence stayed steady throughout her set, as she transitioned through her raunchiest hits. The crowd seemed to hang onto every word, confidently rapping each verse and fueling the energy of the room.
Halfway through the night, CupcakKe held a moan competition, starting off by moaning into the microphone herself before holding out the microphone to invite the audience to moan as well.
She nodded in approval before passing off the microphone to different members of the audience to see who had the best moan.
“Should I sing CPR, or no?” she teased the crowd after the moaning had concluded. “Okay, let’s get it.”
She dove straight into the track, delivering the iconic and outrageous verse, “I save d–k by giving CPR,” which sent the crowd into a frenzy.
Throughout the performance, she casually took audience members’ phones, filming herself as she rapped her lyrics without missing a beat
“You’re so f—–g hot, my p—y is drenched you guys,” CupcakKe said to the crowd.
When asked why she came out to see CupcakKe, Kendall Scales, freshman in LAS, answered “Why not?”
“She’s here, she’s hilarious, so why not go?” Scales said. “She’s really fun, she gets right to the point. She’s not leaving out details, she’s not censoring it, she’s just herself.”
After “Little Red Riding Good,” CupcakKe brought seven audience members on stage to twerk along as she continued her set.
“Who’s gonna come on stage and shake some ass?” she asked the crowd, sounding serious in her request. “Who’s shaking ass? Don’t come on stage if you not.”
The seven audience members twerked in the background as CupcakKe rapped on “Duck Duck Goose.” She kept the energy high, encouraging the crowd to cheer and vote for the best twerker, narrowing the contestants down to a final three.
The winners were awarded backstage passes, which she seamlessly transitioned into by performing her track “Backstage Passes.”
During a freaky remix of Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” the rapper took a light-up cowboy hat from an audience member and put it on with a grin.
“I’m gonna take your d–k put in my hole,” CupCakKe boldly sang. “Ride ‘til I can’t no more.”
“Have you c-m yet?” she asked the audience with playful intensity. “Have you came yet you guys?”
On “Grilling N–s,” CupcakKe showcased her undeniable rapping talent, delivering each verse with a smooth flow that left no doubt about her skill.
“What the f–k kinda crowd is tonight?” she asked with a laugh as the night began to come to an end. “I definitely got to come back here, no pun intended.”
“Good PusS” was her final song of the night, offering one last taste of sexual vulgarity before ending her set 15 minutes early.
She exited the stage in a typical CupcakKe fashion, leaving the audience with her appreciation and one brazen final remark.
“Thank you everyone, I’m about to go suck some d–k.”
