NEW YORK-Here’s an art exhibit that could really get your pulse racing.

Madison Square Park, located near the famous Flatiron building in Manhattan, is introducing an interactive light installation by Mexican artist Rafael Lozano-Hemmer.

Sensors on two sculptures will transmit visitors’ heart rates to 200 theatrical spotlights, creating narrow-beam lights pulsating across the lawn.

Park officials say “the result is a poetic expression of our vital signs.”

The installation is called Pulse Park. It will be on view from Oct. 24 to Nov. 17, between dusk and 10 p.m.

It’s the culmination of a series that the artist debuted at the 2007 Venice Biennale.
