DSC kicks off annual Tree of Hope fundraiser

The Tree of Hope kick-off and Annual Recognition Event is set to introduce the Tree of Hope Spokes Family.

Kick-off for Tree of Hope, sponsored by the Developmental Services Center (DSC), is set for Nov. 4 at 8 a.m. at Sullivan-Parkhill Automotive, 440 West Anthony Drive in Champaign.

The Spokes Family is Beth Rempe, Theo Malekin and their daughter, Hazel Rempe-Malekin.

According to a press release, DSC plans on announcing their fundraising goal and honoring this year’s sponsors.

Donations for Tree of Hope help DSC provide services for over 1,400 children and adults with developmental disabilities each year.

The Tree of Hope is located on the corner of Prospect Avenue and Marketview Drive in Champaign and will be lit with each contribution of $50 given between Nov. 1 and Jan. 31, 2011.
