Champaign honored for energy efficiency

Mayor Gerald Schweighart will accept on behalf of the city of Champaign the Ameren Illinois Act on Energy's "Most Progressive City Award" on November 15 at 2 p.m. at the Ameren Illinois, Champaign/Urbana Operating Center, 1112 W. Anthony Dr. This is the first time the award has ever been presented.
