Meals of Hope, a Champaign-Urbana project to provide 54,000 meals to hungry families in the community, is in need of funding before the event can take place in the fall.
The ongoing improvements to University Avenue between Randolph Street and Chestnut Street will be shifting to the north side (westbound) portion of the street.
The second year of Urbana’s Cherry Jam festival continues to sweeten with local bands and featured restaurants in downtown Urbana. From June through August, this free summer festival takes place Friday evenings from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Cherry Alley next to The Urbana Free Library.
