Late Friday evening, a 21-year-old man was driving recklessly westbound on Springfield when he struck three people with his car: an 18-year-old Champaign woman, a 21-year-old Urbana man, and a 19-year-old Urbana woman.

According to a police report, the man fled the scene but was later located by Urbana police and arrested. He was charged with having an expired drivers license, operating an uninsured vehicle and hit and run. The conditions of the victims were unknown at press time.
