  • A 19-year-old woman reported theft at Soma, 320 N. Neil St., Monday evening.

    According to a police report, the woman’s purse was stolen at the business Jan. 26.

    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

  • A 22-year-old man was issued a notice to appear in court at the 300 block of South Wright Street Friday evening.

    According to a police report, the man had multiple keg violations.

  • A 19-year-old man was issued a notice to appear in court on drug related charges at Illinois Terminal, 45 E. University Ave. Monday afternoon.

    According to a police report, the man was found smoking cannabis outside the main doors of the terminal.

    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

  • A 19-year-old man reported theft from his motor vehicle at the 1000 block of South Sixth Street sometime Monday.

    According to a police report, an unknown offender stole a ski rack from the top of his vehicle.

  • Delta Chi fraternity, 1111 S. First St., reported criminal damage to their property Saturday evening.

    According to a police report, an unknown offender destroyed an antique picture frame and attempted to steal the document inside.

  • A 39-year-old man reported criminal damage to his property at Meijer Inc., 2401 N. Prospect Ave., Friday evening.

    According to a police report, a 22-year-old man slashed the man’s tires in the parking lot.

  • Eleven notices to appear in court were issued for minors in possession of alcohol at Station 211, 211 E. Green St., Jan. 20.

    According to a police report, officers conducted bar checks and found 11 minors in possession of alcohol.

  • Thirteen notices to appear in court were issued for minors in possession of alcohol at Clybourne, 706 S. Sixth St., Jan. 20.

  • Five notices to appear in court were issued for various charges at The White Horse Inn, 112 E. Green St., Jan. 20.

    According to a police report, officers conducted bar checks and issued notices to appear for minors in possession of alcohol, public urination and unlawful use of an ID.

  • The Coca-Cola Bottling Company reported theft at 1000 block of West Killarney Avenue Wednesday morning.

    According to a police report, an unknown offender forced entry into four vending machines and stole money from within.

    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

  • A 42-year-old man was arrested for trespassing and disorderly conduct at Boomerang’s Bar and Grill, 1309 E. Washington St., early Wednesday morning.

    According to a police report, the man was asked to leave the bar numerous times by an employee, but refused each time. The man alarmed and disturbed the employee by yelling expletives at her. The man was located and arrested.

    University

    • A woman reported theft at Assembly Hall, 1800 S. First St., Saturday evening.

      According to a police report, the woman’s wallet was stolen while she was attending a basketball game. Her credit cards were used to make unauthorized purchases at two local gas stations. The wallet was returned to the woman Monday but was missing two credit cards and cash.

      No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

    • The Pre-Veterinary Club reported theft at the Illini Union, 1401 W. Green St., sometime between Friday and Monday.

      According to a police report, an unknown offender stole $62 from a cash box in the club’s office.

      No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

    • A Sanders Hall, 902 College Dr., resident advisor reported suspected drug activity Tuesday morning.

      According to a police report, police confiscated a small amount of suspected cannabis, two nitrous oxide canisters, a homemade “huffer” tube and a flask containing vodka from two men.

      No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
