Jody Ellis and Derrick McPhearson, former University football players, received continuances on their cases involving four counts of residential burglary and two counts of theft under $300 stemming from an incident on Unofficial St. Patrick’s Day. Both men pled not guilty to the original charges during their first appearance on March 5.

Both Ellis and McPhearson will appear in court again on Tuesday, May 8 at 11 a.m.

The two juniors were dismissed from the team following the original incident.
