The city of Champaign undergoes maintenance today, closing street blocks in and around Campustown.

The Bankier Apartments building at 202 E. Green St. gets a fresh coat of paint today. The westbound lane of traffic on the block in front of the building will be shifted to the center lane.

A water leak repair at the intersection of Springfield and Neil streets will close one southbound lane of Neil Street The traffic is expected to flow into a single lane until Monday, when repairs are estimated to be completed.

An emergency repair, due to a recent train derailment, will close State Street on the blocks between Tremont and Maple. The street is expected to reopen on Friday, following completion of the crossing repair.
