Champaign

  • A 24-year-old female was arrested for theft at Wal-Mart, 2600 block of North Prospect Avenue, on Oct. 6.

    According to the police report, the offender left the store without purchasing merchandise.

  • A 26-year-old female reported burglary from a motor vehicle on the 2100 block of West White Street on Thursday night.

    According to the police report, an unknown offender entered the victim’s vehicle and stole her wallet with all the contents in it.

  • A 31-year-old man was arrested at the intersection of Bradley and Country Fair drives Friday evening.

    According to the police report, the offender was operating an uninsured vehicle and had a suspended driver’s license.

  • A 20-year-old man reported criminal damage to property on the 100 block of East Chalmers Street on Saturday evening.

    According to the police report, an unknown offender broke the fuel door off a vehicle.

    According to the police report, an unknown offender threw a rock and damaged the passenger door.

    According to the police report, an unknown offender entered the residence and stole electronic games.

  • A 43-year-old female reported burglary for a motor vehicle on 900 block of Cresent Street on Monday morning.

    According to the police report, the victim’s purse and contents were removed from her vehicle. When the purse was located, two debit cards were missing.

  • A 21-year-old female reported theft on the 300 block of West Vine Street on Monday evening.

    According to the police report, an unknown offender stole the victim’s bike, which was parked outside the victim’s residence.

  • A 37-year-old reported threatening phone calls on the 700 block of West Springfield Avenue on Monday night.

    According to the police report, the victim knew who was making the calls.

  • A 30-year-old man was arrested at the intersection of Third and Church streets Saturday evening.

    According to the police report, the offender was found to be in possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell.

  • An 18-year-old female was arrested on the 2000 block of Moreland Boulevard early Tuesday morning.

    According to the police report, when officers tried to break up a fight, the offender resisted their attempts to arrest her.

Urbana

  • A 37-year-old female reported criminal damage to property on the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Aug. 21.

    According to the police report, an unknown offender forced open the victim’s garage door causing damage to it and other items on the inside.

  • A 42-year-old man reported aggravated battery at the Park Inn, 2400 block of North Cunningham Avenue, early Saturday morning.

    According to the police report, the victim reported being attacked and beaten by a large group.

  • Residential burglary was reported on the 300 block of South Busey Avenue on Sunday evening.

    According to the police report, an unknown offender entered the victim’s apartment and stole various items.

  • A 33-year-old man reported criminal defacement of property on the 2800 block of Slayback Street on Monday morning.

    According to the police report, an unknown offender spray painted the victim’s garage door and the street in front of the residence.

  • A 48-year-old female reported theft on the 1800 block of Phil Street on Monday morning.

    According to the police report, an unknown offender stole the victim’s credit card and made unauthorized charges to the card.

University

  • Battery was reported on the 1100 block of Gregory Drive on Saturday morning.

    According to the police report, two female victims reported that the battery occurred after the African-American Homecoming dance.

  • An 18-year-old man was arrested at Snyder Hall, 206 East Peabody Drive, early Friday morning.

    According to the police report, the offender damaged government-supported property and illegally consumed alcohol.
