According to the latest results from the Brookens Administration Center, in the race for state representative of Illinois’ 103rd District, Democratic incumbent Naomi Jakobsson continues to lead Republican challenger Frank Calabrese with 71.9 percent of the vote.

In the race for State’s Attorney, Democratic incumbent Julia Rietz holds her lead over Republican challenger Janie Miller-Jones with 65.26 percent of the vote. Miller-Jones, however, continues to refuse to concede to Rietz and will not comment on the election

The most recent results show voters in Champaign County do not support holding a constitutional convention, with 68.97 percent voting “no” to the referendum.

Results on the sales tax referendum continue to be close, with 49.78 percent supporting the increase and 50.22 percent opposed.
