Gov. Blagojevich to fill Obama’s empty Senate seat

With Obama’s presidential victory there is an open Senate seat that needs to be filled. The responsibility to fill this seat falls on Gov. Rod Blagojevich , who has not hinted at who he will choose.

Although pundits have been speculating as to who Blagojevich may choose, the decision remains uncertain. The Daily Illini’s Matt Mershon is here to tell us more about what the Governor’s office is saying.
