A new 11-story apartment building will be built at the corner of Second and Green streets in Champaign, due to be completed by the summer of 2010.

The building, which will house a floor of retail space, as well as a parking garage and 112 apartments will be built by Campus Property Management, said project architect Josh Daly of Henneman Engineering of Champaign.

The building will be located on the site of the former National City bank on the east side of Second Street.
