Police search for suspects in sexual assault

The Champaign Police Department is asking the community for their help in finding two suspects wanted for outstanding warrants for Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault, which is a class X felony, says a press release.

Police received information that a 16-year-old female was sexually assaulted on Mar. 6, 2009. The alleged assault occurred at 1903 Diana Ave. in Champaign.

Cortez Ross and Mario D. Jackson were arrested the day of the assault at their home, and a 16-year-old suspect was also arrested in connection with the crime.

Police are still searching for Rajon D. Campbell and Marlone Pendelton for their connection with the crime.
