Champaign

A 52-year-old woman reported theft at the 400 block of South State Street, Wednesday.

According to the police report, the unknown offender stole the victim’s motorized wheelchair.

A 33-year-old man was arrested for burglary at Wal–Mart, 2610 N. Prospect Ave., Wednesday.

According to the police report, the offender took merchandise without paying.

Forgery and identity theft was reported at the Department of Motor Vehicles, 2401 W. Bradley Ave., Tuesday.

According to the police report, the offender entered the facility in an attempt to obtain an identification card using another person’s information. The offender left before officers arrived.

Criminal property damage was reported at Fat Sandwich Company, 502 E. John St., Wednesday.

According to the police report, the victim claimed the male offender accused him of taking $10. The offender pulled out a knife and began swinging it. The victim was cut above his eye.

Urbana

A 38-year-old man reported aggravated battery at the 1200 block of East Florida Avenue, Thursday.

According to the police report, the male offender and the victim engaged in a fight in the apartment building hallway. The offender struck the victim with an unknown weapon, causing a laceration. The offender fled and the victim went to the hospital.

Two 19-year-old men were arrested for the purchase of liquor and consumption by minors at the 1900 block of North Lincoln Avenue, Saturday.

According to the police report, the offenders were issued a notice to appear.

University

Theft was reported at the Undergraduate Library, 1402 W. Gregory Drive, around 4 a.m., Thursday.

According to the police report, a $900 laptop was stolen.
