According to the police report, the offender hid clothing in his jacket and left the store without paying. The offender had not been found at the time of the report.

A 51-year-old man reported aggravated battery at the 1300 block of North Champaign Street, Tuesday.

According to the police report, the victim claimed the male offender accused him of taking $10. The offender pulled out a knife and began swinging it. The victim was cut above his eye.

Urbana

A 38-year-old man reported aggravated battery at the 1200 block of East Florida Avenue, Thursday.

According to the police report, the male offender and the victim engaged in a fight in the apartment building hallway. The offender struck the victim with an unknown weapon, causing a laceration. The offender fled and the victim went to the hospital.

Two 19-year-old men were arrested for the purchase of liquor and consumption by minors at the 1900 block of North Lincoln Avenue, Saturday.

According to the police report, the offenders were issued a notice to appear.

University

Theft was reported at the Undergraduate Library, 1402 W. Gregory Drive, around 4 a.m., Thursday.

According to the police report, a $900 laptop was stolen.
