The University’s Office of International Programs selected seven faculty members to take part in the ACES Academy for Global Engagement, a press release said.
This is a one-year program structured to help faculty members focus on global activities in the college, community and nation.
The final aspect of the program is an international immersion trip.
A group of “internationally savvy” faculty known as the ACES Global Academy Fellows will help them experience aspects of other cultures, namely the food value chain in India from Jan. 14 to 26, develop international skills, generate research collaborations and learn innovative teaching methods.
