Champaign

—Criminal damage to property was reported in the 900 block of North Third Street at around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

According to the report, five windows and two door frames were damaged on a vacant home by unknown suspects.

—Deceptive practices was reported in the 100 block of East Church Street at around 8:30 a.m. Monday.

According to the report, an unknown suspect used the victim’s identity to open a service account.

—A 21-year-old male was arrested on the charges of domestic battery in the 2200 block of South First Street at around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

According to the report, police responded to the residence after someone reported a domestic disturbance complaint.

—Theft was reported at Lincoln Hall, 702 S. Wright St., at around 1:00 p.m. Monday.

According to the report, someone stole an the student’s cellphone, which was left in an unattended classroom. The cellphone was valued at $650.

—Theft was reported at the Illini Union, 1401 W. Green St., at around 3:00 p.m. Tuesday.

According to the report, someone stole the student’s cellphone which was left in a restroom. The phone was valued at $150.

Urbana

—A 21-year-old male was arrested on the charges of theft of a motor vehicle in the 700 block East Colorado Avenue at around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the report, the suspect admitted to taking the car so he could find some place warm to sleep.
