Champaign

 Theft of a motor vehicle was reported in the 2600 block of West Daniel Street around 1 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the report, an unknown offender stole the victim’s vehicle.

 Forgery was reported in the 600 block of East Green Street around 2 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the report, an unknown offender forged the victim’s check and then cashed it.

 A 35-year-old female was arrested on the charge of theft at Telecris Plasma Center, 24 E. Green St., around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday,

According to the report, the offender stole the victim’s debit card and tax refund check.

University

 Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported at 700 S. Gregory St., Wednesday.

According to the report, the victim reported someone burglarized her car between April 10 and April 15. Missing from the vehicle was an electronic device and various other items.

 A 19-year-old male was arrested for an outstanding warrant at Illinois Terminal, 45 E. University Ave., around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

According to the report, the man had an outstanding warrant from the city of Champaign for failure to appear in court for possession of cannabis. An officer familiar with the warrant noticed the man.   

 Theft and criminal damage to property were reported in lot C-7, 801 S. Sixth St., around 12 p.m. Tuesday.

According to the report, a University employee reported that someone had forcibly removed the fuel door and stole the gas cap off of a University-owned vehicle parked in the lot sometime  between April 2 and April 15. The damage is estimated at $500.

Urbana

 A 54-year-old male was arrested on the charges of trespassing and domestic dispute in the 100 block of Glover Avenue around 11 a.m. Wednesday.

According to the report, the man and female victim were dating and previously separated. The man entered the victim’s residence without permission and the victim called police when she returned and found him inside.
