Police blotter for July 6, 2015

Champaign 

— Criminal damage to property was reported at the Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity house, 301 E. Armory Ave., at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

According to the report, an unknown person vandalized the interior of the frat house. 

— Theft of a motor vehicle was reported on the 2600 block of West John Street at 1 a.m. Wednesday.

According to the report, the victim’s car was stolen but later recovered.

University 

— Theft was reported near the volleyball courts at the intersection of Oak Street and Stadium Drive at 10:30 a.m. Monday.

According to the report, the victim’s purse and all of its contents was stolen after being left unattended near the courts. The estimated value of the stolen property is $320.

— Armed robbery was reported on the 00 block of East Stadium Drive at 7 p.m. Monday.

According to the report, a man was robbed at gunpoint for his wallet. The wallet and its contents have an estimated value of $66.

Urbana

— Criminal damage to property was reported on the 1100 block of West Oregon Street at 12:30 p.m. Friday.

According to the report, someone damaged a window screen and door at apartment building. 

— Theft was reported on the 1500 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 11 a.m. Thursday.

According to the report, an unknown offender stole a license plate off of his car.
