Police blotter for Nov. 3, 2015

Champaign

n Criminal sexual assault was reported Friday around 1:45 p.m. in the 900 block of South Second Street.

n Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported Saturday around 2:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of South Mattis Avenue.

According to the report, currency was stolen from the vehicle and there were no suspects.

n An arrest was made around 1:15 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of East Armory Avenue for domestic battery and resisting a police officer.

According to the report, police were notified by a person who witnessed the battery and the offender ran when ordered to stop.

n An arrest was made Sunday around 3:30 a.m. in the 0-100 block of East Chalmers Street for domestic battery.

According to the report, the offender was a University student.

Urbana

n Residential burglary was reported Sunday around noon in the 500 block of W. Pennsylvania Avenue.

According to the report, an unknown offender stole jewelry, electronics and currency from the victim’s home.

n Retail theft was reported Sunday around 2:00 p.m. at Casey’s General Store, 2108 E. University Ave.

According to the report, an unknown offender pumped gas and left without paying for it.
