Champaign

Non-consensual distribution of sexual images was reported on the 500 block of South Fourth Street around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the victim reported suspicions that her ex-boyfriend posted inappropriate photos of her online.

Theft was reported at Target, 2102 N. Prospect Ave., around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, a cell phone was stolen from the victim.

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 800 block of N. Willis Ave. around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, an unidentified suspect broke a house window.

University

An arrest was made on the 900 block of South Sixth Street around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the 22-year-old male was driving under the influence of drugs and in illegal possession of nitrous oxide. An officer saw the arrestee ingesting nitrous oxide from canisters in the driver’s seat.

An arrest was made near the intersection of Sixth Street and Springfield Avenue around 1 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the 19-year-old arrestee was seen physically confronting another person during a demonstration.

Theft was reported near the intersection of Wright and Green streets around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, a flag being used during a demonstration was stolen from two students’ hands.

Urbana

An arrest was made at the Urbana Free Library, 210 W. Green St., around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the 42-year-old male was occupying a building and was previously issued a ban notice on several occasions. He was taken into custody and transported to Champaign County Jail.

An arrest was made on the 1700 block of Melrose Village Court around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the 21-year-old male was in possession of a controlled substance and items consistent with the delivery of a controlled substance.

Burglary was reported on the 400 block of Kerr Avenue around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. According to the report, an unknown offender entered a locked vacant apartment under construction and removed tools.
