T-Pain performs at Hot 97’s Summer Jam festival in 2007.

The fourth annual Spring Jam concert event will feature rapper and hip-hop artist T-Pain on April 29 at 2 p.m.

Janea McAlister, freshman in ACES, said she is looking forward to attending Spring Jam this year and thinks it will be fun.

Spring Jam is hosted by the Illini Union, the Illini Union Board and the Star Course Concert Committee.

Candace Liu, senior in LAS, said she might be attending Spring Jam because it is free. Spring Jam is free for any University student who brings their i-Card, with no exceptions.

“It will be fun, since there will be a lot of people on Quad,” she said.

CJ Seymour, junior in Media, said they will be attending the concert.

“I knew him since I was a little kid,” they said.

Seymour said they love T-Pain’s rhythm and blues music and how he has been making amazing music for over 10 years.

“He is a legend,” Seymour said.
