An arrest was made on the charge of theft near Busey Avenue and Iowa Street around 6:30 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, the 25-year-old arrestee was identified as the person who had stolen a bicycle from a rack at the Medical Sciences Building, 506 S. Mathews Ave., minutes earlier.

An arrest was made on a Champaign County warrant for failure to appear in court near Lincoln Avenue and Windsor Road around 2 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, the 41-year-old arrestee was a passenger in a vehicle that was initially stopped for speeding.

Urbana

Forgery was reported at America’s Best Inn, 409 W. University Ave., around 1 a.m. Sunday. According to the report, the offender used a counterfeit $20 bill to buy pizza from the victim’s business.

Retail theft was reported at Walmart, 100 S. High Cross Road, around 1:30 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, offenders entered the business and took items from the store without rendering payment.

Domestic battery was reported on the 400 block of Colorado Avenue around 4:30 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, the two subjects are in a dating relationship and live together. The two engaged in an alleged physical and verbal argument.
