Aggravated discharge of a firearm and criminal damage to property were reported on the 700 block of North Neil Street around 6:30 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, a possible bullet dent was found in a business’ vehicle.
Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported on the 500 block of East Clark Street around 5 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, the unknown offender entered the victim’s car and looked through its contents. Nothing valuable was taken.
An arrest was made on the charges of driving under a suspended license, speeding, operating an uninsured vehicle and obstructing identification. According to the report, the 50-year-old male lied about his identity to avoid being arrested for driving under a suspended license.

Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported on the 2000 block of Vawter Street around 8 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, the offender took the victim’s belongings from the bed of the victim’s truck. One safe and two firearms were reported missing.

An arrest was made on the charges of aggravated battery on the 100 block of Crystal Lake Drive around 5:30 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, the victim and the 20-year-old female arrestee have a history of bad feelings between them. The suspect attacked the victim on the street and they fought until officers arrived.
An arrest was made on the charges of violating a bail bond and resisting a police officer. According to the report, the 51-year-old male and the victim were in a verbal dispute but have an active no-contact order. The suspect resisted the police officer during arrest.
