Champaign Police are investigating a shooting in the 100 block of Kenwood Road.

According to a City of Champaign press release, police responded to the scene around 10:43 p.m. Wednesday. At the scene, police found a 25-year-old female with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and she was transported to the hospital.

No arrests have been made; however, the preliminary investigation indicates a gun was discharged after a dispute between known acquaintances.
