An Illini-Alert announced that gas odors were reported in the area of northeast campus on Thursday afternoon.
The Fire Department is on scene.

The emergency has ended, and it is safe to resume regular activities as of 2:56 p.m., according to a new Illini-Alert.
The Urbana Fire Department investigated the odor both in and around several campus buildings and concluded there was no indication of danger.
