UPDATE: May 10, 4 a.m.

A red car pulled up to the south end of Lincoln Hall where members of the encampment had placed medical equipment from the medical tents and started loading the supplies into the vehicle.

Both medical tents have been taken down.

UPDATE: May 10, 3:48 a.m.

Members were seen loading supplies from their medical tent into a car parked in the lot between Lincoln Hall and Gregory Hall.

A large number of tents have been taken down already. Other supplies have been relocated off of the Main Quad.

UPDATE: May 10, 3:30 a.m.

At this point, the encampment is reminiscent of April 28, the day in which tents first began to appear on the Main Quad. Approximately 18 tents remain standing, down from just shy of 60 at its peak.

Additionally, members removed the sign at the north of the encampment which read “UIUC LIBERATION ZONE.”

UPDATE: May 10, 3:24 a.m.

At least 10 tents have been taken down from the encampment. The first to go were those located at the north-most end. The majority of the tents appear to be empty.

Approximately 14 individuals are removing the tents. Multiple groups of people are taking the tents behind Foellinger Auditorium.

Members of the encampment have started taking down tents. At 3 a.m., at least four tents were taken down.

UPDATE: May 10, 2:42 a.m.

Members of the encampment began moving plastic bins, wooden pallets, coolers, trash cans and other objects away from the encampment at 12:30 a.m. 

Ladders were momentarily seen by the east side of Foellinger Auditorium. 

Members of the encampment were seen taking everything towards and into The Red Herring.
