On April 2 at 12:05 p.m., Urbana police responded to another shooting at a convenience store near 1900 S. Philo. The incident involved two 17-year-old juveniles and a 22-year-old male.

One of the juveniles shot the 22-year-old ten times, “hitting him four times in the arm, leg, and buttock,” according to the Urbana Police Department.

The incident happened outside the convenience store when the older man punched one of the juveniles.

The police surrounded the offender’s home after identifying him as the shooter. With a court approved search warrant, the police then searched the home of the offender.
