Battery was reported in the 2000 block of Vawter Street around 8 p.m. on Thursday. According to the report, the residents from two separate apartments were in a physical fight over loud music. Two residents alleged that a handgun had been involved in the incident.

Burglary was reported in the 1300 block of Silver Street around 4 p.m. on Thursday. According to the report, an unknown offender entered a secure, vacant apartment building and pried open a vacant apartment. A refrigerator was stolen from the apartment.
