The University is inviting undergraduate students to apply for the 2025-26 Student Success Undergraduate Advisory Board — a group of students that works directly with campus leadership to represent the student perspective and help strengthen the community.
The advisory board serves as a platform for students to share their experiences, concerns and ideas with the Office of the Provost & Executive Vice Chancellors and Student Success @ Illinois.
Members of the board collaborate with peers and administrators to highlight both the successes and challenges of undergraduate life, with the goal of improving the overall student experience on campus, according to a Massmail distributed by the University.
“They (the board) aim to accurately portray the current realities of the undergraduate experience by articulating the highlights and challenges of being a student at the university,” wrote Kathy Martensen, associate provost for educational programs and success initiatives, in the email.
Students interested in joining must be enrolled full time in a degree-granting undergraduate program and must plan to be on campus for both the fall and spring semesters of the 2025-26 academic year.
