Deceptive practices was reported at AMC Carmike 13 Theatre, 910 Meijer Drive, around 8:30 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, the suspect used a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase a movie ticket at the theater.

Theft was reported at Wassaja Hall, 1202 S. First St., between  noon and 5 p.m. Saturday. According to the report, the victim left his tablet computer in a study area unattended. The tablet computer has an estimated value of $590.

Urbana

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 900 block of Division Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the victim’s locked rental home was damaged by an unknown offender. The back door of the rental home and two sinks were vandalized. The damage of the two sinks caused further water damage.
