The University’s online courses for accounting was ranked one of the top programs in the country. The ranking on Online Course Report considers cost, accreditation and reviews/ratings in its decision.

The course ranked first for Illinois was Introduction to Auditing. The website said this course helps students develop critical skills to evaluate assurance services, conduct risk assessments and create audit reports.
“This class is offered completely online by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in partnership with Coursera. It requires 35 hours of coursework, which can be completed according to one’s own schedule,” according to Online Course Report.
